I would have to credit my Dad for getting me started in hunting and fishing pursuits. This instilled in me a great appreciation for the outdoors. My first fishing experiences started around the age of 7 in 1970, growing up in South Dakota.  I spent my teens and early 20's in Central Washington chasing mostly trout and catfish. During a few years in the S.F. Bay area I really got into fly fishing Northern California. When I got back to the Northwest, fly fishing for trout quickly led to a passion for steelhead and salmon. I feel lucky to have experienced  many great angling adventures over the years in our western U.S. states, Alaska, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.  Living in St. Helens, Oregon is heaven on earth for an angler like myself. We have excellent fishing opportunities that my family and friends enjoy immensely. I'd like the opportunity to lead a fishing adventure for your group.
